Black Friday Weekend Makeup Haul

I could not resist buying makeup during Black Friday. I took advantage of Coastal Scent's 50% off site wide, NARS 20% off, and Sephora just because. Everything I bought I was so thrilled with.

Let's start with what I got from Coastal Scents:

I've been wanting to try the Revealed Palettes forever now, and when's a better time to buy them when they are half off? Normally they are about $20 which is still completely reasonable for 20 eyeshadows, but I was able to score these for $10! I repurchased my Camo Quad and my Bight Eyed Concealer because my sister kept taking them. I decided she can just have my old ones and I'd get new ones. I also bought the Camouflage Palette.

These palettes are gorgeous. If you haven't already done your holiday shopping for your friends, this would be an amazing gift. I would honestly be so excited to receive either one of these. The color variety is perfect for anybody's makeup collection. There's so many must have eyeshadow shades that could keep you coming back to these palettes. Also, if you don't have $50 to spend on the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, these are pretty much exact dupes for them. They are less than half the price and come with almost double the shadows.

A girl can't have too much concealer. I love my Camo Quad and Bright Eyed concealer, hence why I repurchased them. The Camouflage Palette just seemed like a good idea. I can use the lighter shades for highlighting, the darker shades for contouring, mix shades to create the perfect color for anytime of year, and to use for when I am doing other people's makeup.

What I got from Sephora:

I really didn't get any good deals from Sephora. I actually didn't get any deals at all, I just wish I could justify my purchase but I really can't. One cool thing was that I became a VIB. Anyway, I got Naked Basics 2, and three really beautiful Makeup Forever Aqua Cream Eyeshadows.

Naked Basics 2 was a lot different in person than I expected it to be, and I actually think I'm going to enjoy it a lot. The colors are a little more muted than Naked Basics, but that's what I like about it. This was a huge impulse buy though. I went back and fourth on whether I even liked it when UD first released it. I thought it was too much like the original, but they are actually very different. If you like very minimal makeup, you'd love this.

I've heard that these are nice, and I figured I'd try them. I stuck with natural colors because I wanted something that I would actually be using. I wore #13 during an 8 hour shirt of constant moving, frying chips, making people's food, and being around a 400 degree grill. It didn't crease once, and I didn't even use a primer with it. Isn't that incredible?! I suggest these to anyone who needs a good cream shadow.

Last but not least, NARS:

I was introduced to NARS when my boyfriend bought me the NARS Cheek Kit and Scarlet Express Lipstick for my birthday. When I saw that NARS was doing 20% off the entire site, I figured it would be a good idea to try more things out. I got two eyeshadow duos, the NARS Creamy Concealer, and another lipstick in Afghan Red.

Both of these duos are so beautiful. They are both a tiny bit out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to try something new. I haven't gotten a chance to play with these yet, but I have a good feeling about them.

I heard a lot of good things about this concealer, and I wanted to see what the hype was about. The color match is perfect, I just wish I got it in a lighter shade so I could use it as my under eye concealer. I haven't really gotten to mess around with this concealer yet either, but I think this will become my go to concealer for when I need something covered up well or for when I want good coverage but minimal makeup.

This lipstick is in Afghan Red. These types of colors are just my go to shades. I'm a true sucker for them. They just look great with my skin color, they look awesome in pictures, you can wear them casually or when you want a full face of makeup... They are just super versatile. I found a real love for NARS lipsticks after Scarlet Express and I am so glad I bought this color too.
