Here I wanted to create a full face makeup look using products that could be purchased for just under $5. This is great for girls going back to school who don't have much money to spend, or just people who are trying to save more but still want to enhance their features.
I just swatched a few products, so here's that:
Now on to the look:
To create my makeup look, I used NYC Smooth Skin BB creme all over my face to even out my complexion, then went in with my elf Complete Coverage Concealer palette to highlight under my eyes, cover up my pimple on my forehead, and brighten up the area around my mouth. Then to set all of that, I used my NYC Smooth Skin Translucent Powder. I use my NYC Smooth Skin Powder everyday to set my makeup. It really makes my face feel smooth, and keeps everything from setting into fine lines. For my cheeks I used my Essence Silky Touch Blush. Blush really does wonders for brightening up your face, making it look healthy and glowy. For eyes I just used the Wet n Wild Coloricon in The Naked Truth. I used the matte brown shade to fill in my eyebrows and to darken up my crease. I use the matte brown shade for my eyebrows everyday, and so does my sister. Then I took the light cream shade and applied it all over my lid to help lighten up my eyes and even out the lid. I just applied my Maybelline Great Lash mascara to finish off the eyes. To pull the look together and finish it off, I applied one of my favorite lipsticks, Elf's Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose.
I am really happy with how this look turned out. I came downstairs to have my mom and sister proof read this post, and before they even knew what I came downstairs for they both said I looked so pretty today. So, this makeup is working! I hope you find this helpful, and that you learned something from it :)
