Face makeup is very personal. Everybody's skin is different, and it all needs different type of attention. For me personally, I have combination skin leaning more towards oily. I also like to embrace my oily skin while others might want to make theirs matte completely. These products are what I like to use on my skin. Things that work for me might not work for you, but everything is worth giving it a try.
I use this moisturizer every morning before applying my makeup. It doesn't feel oily or heavy on my skin, and it creates a smooth base for my makeup. It also smells very nice and since it's a gel, it feels cold when you first apply it, which is good for the morning time.
I chose to talk about two different foundations. The Covergirl foundation is an everyday foundation that gives medium to full coverage. It lasts all day, and gives a very natural look to the skin. I love this foundation, I wear it almost everyday. This would be good for most skin types except for extremely oily skin because this foundation is not drying at all, it's almost moisturizing. Next we have the Maybelline foundation. This makes your skin look absolutely flawless. It looks like your face has been airbrushed in real life. People with dry skin probably wouldn't like this foundation because it's pretty drying. I have oily skin and this does not make my skin oily at all. It lasts through everything, probably even a swim!
I use this powder everyday to set my face makeup. It is just a standard pressed powder that gets the job done, and it's cheap.
This is my favorite concealer. It is so creamy, covers well, lasts all day, and blendable. It is useable for all parts of the face too, even under the eyes. It never creases on me.
These blushes are absolutely stunning. They give beautiful color and shimmer to the cheeks. You don't even need to bother with a highlighter if you use these blushes because they highlight the cheeks on their own. I think these are must have blushes, honestly. I want them all! You just look like you have such a healthy glow whenever you wear these. I hope Milani comes out with highlighters like these.
I think NYX makes some awesome blushes. A lot of the times I'll use Terra Cotta all over my cheeks before I put on my blush color to create that "glow from within" look. Mocha is definitely one of my go to everyday blushes. I actually sometimes use my fingers and apply Mocha onto my lips for a wash of color, and then apply some lipgloss on top. It's like a my lip color but better kind of thing. You can easily build these blushes up or wear them as a light sheen on the cheeks.
If you're into cream products, then try these out. These are so creamy, blendable, long wearing, and cheap. You can use the bronzer for conturing because it is matte, so that is a huge plus. The pink shade looks super natural on the cheeks, and you can build up the color for your desired intensity.
I use this bronzer basically everyday for contouring and putting back a tan into my skin to match the rest of my body. I love this bronzer and it is so great that it is matte. I think that this is an absolute must have, and especially because it is matte, you can do so much with it. You can even use it as a matte eyeshadow to deepen up your crease area.
This is just one of the many reasons I love makeup. Yes, this is an eyeshadow, and yes, you can use it as a face highlighter. Makeup has no rule book, so who says you can't use an eyeshadow on your cheeks?! I honestly think this eyeshadow works better on the face than it does on the eyes. Lightly dust this on your cheekbones and you have a beautiful, golden shimmer highlight that is to die for. You can also use this as your brow bone highlight and inner corner highlight so your face makeup matches with your eye makeup and everything looks natural and uniformed.
For my foundation I used the Covergirl 3 in 1 and then I went in with the Fit Me concealer to cover up any imperfections and set everything with the NYC pressed powder. I took a big fluffy brush and dusted NYC Sunny Bronzer all over my face to give me back my tan. For the cheeks I first applied the Bella Chiffon eyeshadow to my cheekbones, and then applied NYX Mocha Blush and dusted Milani's Baked Blush in Rose D'Oro on top. I also applied Mocha to my lips using my fingers. I then used Bella Chiffon all over my eyelid and Sunny Bronzer into the crease for an easy eye look that went along with the rest of my face.
