The eyeshadows are a moose and dry like a powder. I have no idea why people are so confused by the texture. They are a moosey, creamy texture and are so fantastic. I applied Get Lucky on my lid with my fingers and then blended Bandit in my crease with a brush. I thought it worked fine with a brush as well. As long as you're using a good base with these shadows to prevent them from creasing, you have any issues with them.
The first two shades, Brink and Lumiere feel a little drying on the lips, but that isn't anything some lip balm can't fix. Bichette is such a perfect red shade, and my favorite way to wear it is by dabbing a little on my lips and rubbing it in with some lip balm. It gives that perfect stained red lip. If you're looking for the perfect black lipstick, you may need to search a little longer. Bull Chic is not as opaque as I would have liked, and not matte either. This color would probably be useful if you're wanting to darken your red lip up, but not worn completely on it's own. It's not a bad black lipstick, but it's not a great black either. The lasting power of these is decent, and about the same as any other lipstick on the market.
My overall thoughts on this brand is boarder-line A-, B+. Although the pigmentation from these shadows are amazing, I wish that the brand was able to get the formula to be creaseless. Or at least create an eyeshadow primer that is designed for these shadows. Maybe an idea, ColourPop? But, for $5, there's really not too much to complain about. And I do believe I will be purchasing from them again, especially if they come out with newer shades. As far as the lipsticks go, I do like them and continue to wear them. I love Brink if I want a more natural look, and again, I use Bichette to achieve the stained lip look. I haven't had a chance to wear a full on red lip recently, but I know Bichette will be an option for when I do! Anyway, ColourPop is a great, affordable brand with good quality makeup and a great variety. The hype for Colourpop is crazy right now, but I don't think it's overhyped at all. It definitely deserves the attention.
And I would just like to add that if you're a gold eyeshadow fanatic like myself, Get Lucky is the most perfect gold I've encountered, so far.
