Dead Halloween Makeup

I am not completely sure what to call this look, but I was playing around with some Halloween makeup after I got inspired by NikkieTutorials latest halloween look. It ended up being super simple and would make a quick and easy halloween costume if you have run out of ideas! Here are the products I used:

As my base I mixed my foundation in with a white face paint to lighten it up. I contoured my face using Winter Brown from the Batalash x Saucebox Palette. Looking back, I wish I would have used a more cool toned contour, but you can't win em' all. From that same palette I used Lace Nior and Cinnamon for my eyes to add depth and Colour Pop Super Shock Shadow in Shameless all over the lid. I then rimmed my water line with MAC Lip Liner in Cherry and smudged it out on the lower lash line. Lastly for the eye area, I took a clean mascara wand and the white face paint and brushed it messily through my brows.

For the mouth area, I took Lace Nior again and did a lot of shading, focusing in the inner portion of my lips and also the outer corners. With a flat eyeshadow brush, I began marking the teeth with the white face paint. It was not showing up as opaque as I would have liked, so I went in with NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to define the white more. To further define the teeth, I took an angle eyeliner brush and began shading in between the drawn on teeth with the black shadow. I also went in a little bit with the MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry to make it look a little bruised or something. Basically to make it look more spooky, lol.

This look did not even require any fake blood. It was not difficult to do at all and took very little time, perfect for a last minute Halloween look. The only things you need would be white face paint, a brown shadow, black shadow, a red lip liner and a couple of generic eyeshadow brushes. Using a reference photo while doing a look like this is extremely helpful too!

I hope this look inspired you. What are you being for Halloween?
