Ulta put out a 20% off coupon for their Platinum members, so obviously I ran to the opportunity to buy some things.
I didn't take a separate picture for this product, but I got the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. I love this new packaging with the brush wand. It is a lot more convenient. I tried Eden in a sample and I loved how full coverage it was. It does a great job at creating a completely blank canvas for eyeshadow. One thing that bugged me a little was that Urban Decay made added .04 ounces less than in this newer bottle. It's not much, but I still had to pay the same price!
I bought this Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild. It is a pink with gold shimmer, my weakness. I have been wearing it a lot lately and I love the texture and finish of it. It is so soft and blend beautifully. The color is perfect for my medium skin tone and lasts all day on the cheeks.
I bought these two little guys for $20. I figured it was a more inexpensive way to try out the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal without buying the full size because I know I would not go through an entire one in my life. Opal is such a beautiful shade, but I still love Champagne Pop more.
I've been using this LORAC Pro Matte Palette a lot since it came in the mail, and I have a love-hate relationship with this. I love the color selection. Color selections in a palette are super important to me and this palette has it all. It is honestly a perfect matte palette, but I have some beef with it. Although they are super pigmented, they kick up a ton of shadow which worries me because I am not about wasting product. Since they are so powdery, I noticed the shadows clinging to my eyelids in certain areas, but to solve that, you can just take a translucent shadow, or even Bare or Linen, and run it over your eyes to create a smooth base. I am definitely going to continue using this palette and it is becoming a staple in my makeup routine. Aside from the formula being powdery, I still love the pigmentation, wear, and shades of these shadows.
I the Love, Lust, Lace PRO Eye Collection because it was a great value and I was already wanting to purchase the LORAC Pro + Fiber mascara. This set was $28. The mascara alone is $23 so I basically got a eyeliner and eyeshadow trio for $5! I am always trying to justify my purchases... But anyway, I haven't played much with the eyeshadow trio, but they swatched super nicely. I feel like it would be difficult to make an entire look with just those three shades. It came with a black eyeliner which is cool because usually these sets try and get rid of not-so-popular shades, or so it seems. I don't use black eyeliner very often, but it never hurts to add another to the collection.
