My Plum Paper Planner
I did a lot of research to make sure I picked out the best planner for me. I was looking for a weekly planner that could be very customizable, practical and a little more on the affordable side. I needed something that was going to help organize the rest of my summer, remember my work schedule, and keep track of my college classes.
People rave about the Erin Condren Life Planners, but those were not for me. I did not love that you couldn't choose the layout of your planner, the inspirational quotes didn't do anything for me and the color-overload would have made me feel crazy. They just seemed too much.
I love the Plum Paper Planner for it's simplicity, customization, and affordability. Unlike the Erin Condren planners, Plum Paper lets you customize which month you would like to start on so you can buy them year-round. I set mine up to start in July 2015 and end June 2016. They also let you add additional months and pages. I added extra To-Do list pages and Note pages to help me stay even more organized.
The cover designs Plum Paper has are adorable. It took me a while to pick mine out because they are all so cute. I included my name on the cover which was no extra charge. In the back of the book, there is a little folder called "For Keeps." I'm sure I'll be using that when school starts back up. They also have a pages dedicated to special dates for each month, passwords, contacts, and all the Holidays through 2017.
Each week starts on a Monday which I like because a new work week for me begins on a Monday. There are 4 different week layouts you can choose from. My layout (#3) has vertical columns for each day and under each day is a little checklist box that I can fill with things to do. There is also a column for a Weekly Checklist and underneath is a little box for notes.
Overall, I love my Plum Paper Planner. Not to mention that the customer service I received was amazing. If you are looking for a planner. check out theirs. They have planners for specific needs like students, teaching, and families. I might purchase their notebooks too for each of my class subjects and my blog because I can customize those as well.
