Lookbook Store Review
I was super excited when I found Lookbookstore.com because it was like my clothing dream came true. They had all the clothes I've seen on Pinterest and Tumblr for such an affordable price. I picked up a few items in a mix of sizes because I wasn't sure if they were going to run big or small. I ordered most of my clothes in a size 2, and a few in size 4.
My package was sent in two separate packages. I got the first one about a week and a half after I bought it, which is not bad at all considering it was coming from China. Shipping was free and they kept me extremely updated on the whereabouts of my order.
I the sizes are very inconsistent. I bought two two-piece outfits both in a size 4. One fit perfect and the other was huge on me. I bought 3 rompers in size 2s and I had the same problem. 2 fit perfect and the other was giant. Unfortunately, size 2 is the smallest they go so I couldn't exchange the cute tie-dye romper, but if you work with the tie around the waist, you can get it to still look cute. I definitely would go a size smaller than you usually are when making your order or at least look up several reviews on the product first. For reference, I am 5'2, weigh 115 and have a medium size bottom with very smal boobs. I usually wear XS-S and a size 2-3 in dresses and pants. The Lookbook Store's size 2 in some items were super large on me when usually size 2 is a perfect fit.
I also got two bras and a beach coverup. I bought the two bras in a size 2 and one fit perfect and the other was large. They were also the same bra but different colors and one came padded and the other did not. The beach cover up is super cute, but I forgot to bring a bathing suit to photograph it in.
If you were wanting to purchase from Lookbook Store, I would definitely tell you to do it. But, keep in mind that it might not be 100% what you are expecting, and that the sizes are inconsistent and a little strange. Lookbook Store does do free returns, but you have to return it to China, so shipping might be more than what you paid for one item!
Overall, my experience with the clothes I bought was pretty pleasant! I knew going into this that I could be risking it a bit, but I ended up really liking the majority of what I purchased! I spent about $150 on everything which is not bad at all. It was during their summer sale, so everything I bought was under $20. I also had a 10% off coupon which made it even cheaper. For the items that I didn't like, which there are only few, I might take up to Plato's Closet and see if I can make my money back that way instead of spending a fortune on returning it back to China.
