My Summer 2015 Favorites

Summer is sadly saying goodbye, but she did bring us some amazing makeup products this season! Summer was all about that glow. Looking like a walking disco ball was completely normal this season and I was loving it. On the other hand, lips were nowhere near glowy with the matte liquid lipstick craze. Anyway, lets get into my favorites!

MAC Waterproof Pro Longwear Nourishing Foundation. I never did get to see if this was waterproof but damn did this stay on all day. Full coverage, comfortable, and long lasting are always incredible qualities in a foundation but the fact that it was all 3 of those things during the hot summer weather makes this foundation absolutely incredible. This was my go-to whenever I wasn't doing no-makeup makeup.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Glisten. These are my all time favorite blushes, but this shade is a staple in the summer. It is a pink with golden shimmer and it is absolutely stunning. It is super glowy on the cheeks which was great for the summer time. It's one of those healthy glow blushes and I love that. They also last super long.

MAC Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Sweet Heat. Confession: I don't wear eyeshadow often. I wish I did, but my eyes can get pretty irritated quickly and eyeshadow is an extra step I don't feel like I need on a daily basis. But, when I do wear eyeshadow I love it. Over the summer, I loved wearing MAC's Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Sweet Heat all over my lids. It was super metallic and beautiful. It definitely added major glam to any look and I loved that.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood and Vamp. I haven't worn these separate yet (Pure Hollywood is too light for me and Vamp is too dark for the summer time) but together they are phenomenal. They create the most perfect shade in the universe. It's like Kylie is living in one tube and Jenner is living in the other and when you mix them together it creates Kylie Jenner. ABH came out with a new shade named Dusty Rose that looks really similar to this combo so I'll probably just purchase that when I'm finished with these Liquid Lipsticks. But, they really do last all day long and I don't find them to be uncomfortable. I also loved the look of matte lips and glowy skin this summer. I hope that's a trend that continues this fall.

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara. Over the summer, I don't skip makeup, but I do tend to wear less on a daily basis. This NYX Tinted Brow Mascara saved me so much time and effort in the mornings. Example: 7am babysitting jobs and 8am morning shifts at work. All I do is run it through my brows and they looked filled in and stay in place. I love this stuff.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil. I ran out of my ABH Brow Wiz and didn't wanted to drop $22 on a new one right away. I had the NYX Micro Brow Pencil that basically looks the exact same as the Brow Wiz so I figured I'd use it for a while until I run out of that so I can justify getting the Brow Wiz again. Let me tell you, save your $22 and get the NYX Micro Brow Pencil. It is literally the same exact product. I will never buy the Brow Wiz again because of this product. It preforms the same way and I love it. I've been using it all summer when I want a little more of a defined brow and it works amazingly.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. This was the highlight of the season, literally. Not only was it a collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, but it seriously stole the show in the highlight world. If I wasn't using this everyday this summer, I felt naked. It's such a stunning product and I don't just think that because I love and support Jaclyn Hill. It gave the most beautiful glow, even to my skin. I still need to buy my backup, and then another backup.

I loved the summer trends this year, and I hope this Fall does not disappoint! What were your beauty favorites this summer?
